Dr. Danie Reitmann, founder of CUCV Video Recruitment, is the owner and founder of the award-winning Feathers Boutique Hotel. Through years of traditional recruitment, he became frustrated with this process, as he found it to be time-consuming and expensive. Feathers Boutique Hotel boasts a great company culture, and the traditional process made it extremely difficult to find the diamond in the rough, and to find a perfect culture match. CUCV Video Recruitment was conceptualised while living in Australia in 2015.
The traditional recruitment process feeds the recruiter with 100's of CV's, the screening process then narrows these down to suitable candidates. These are then interviewed and sifted again. This process takes time, and is costly for the employer and all the candidates involved.
CUCV eliminates the recruiter's screening process and unnecessary time spent on interviews. We combine written CV's and a pre-recorded selfie introduction videos for you to meet the person behind the CV. This process saves you time and money as you can pre-meet your candidates before scheduling interviews.
